Meyer began his research into perceptual/spatial experiences in , starting with the fleeting metaphoric aspects of clouds and views from airplane windows.

The works “Papierperspektive”, (“Paper Perspectives”) present multiple points of view and abstractions of seeing. They are created using lines that are superimposed with graph conventions drawn from cartography and meteorology.
