Tripathi’s withdrawal, whose name was announced in AAP’s first list of candidates, has come as a major setback to the party.

Differently abled Tripathy was pitted against Union minister Salman Khurshid.
“I approached the Farrukhabad Lok Sabha in-charge but he, too, said that I should cultivate ‘power’ and ‘source’ to get the attention of top leadership.
He also said that not just the party, the entire country is running on jugaad,” Tripathi said, adding that he has all this on record.
Claiming corruption, he said that thousands of Rs 10 membership forms of the AAP have not been accounted for even as the local unit has a list of only 1,700 members.
“Fed up, I decided to withdraw my candidature,” Tripathi said.
He also said that the party is misleading all youths who have forsaken their education and jobs to support the party for its false “idealism.”
